Rina Tairo

Inspired by her love of textiles, Rina Tairo makes her stunningly beautiful and innovative jewellery from her own gallery in Brighton. Using textile methods and tools, Rina creates her 'wearable pieces of art'...

Tube bracelet, 18ct yellow gold with platinum square £2200
Stud earrings, 18ct yellow gold with white diamond beads £690

oooohhhhh!

These little beauties are by Katie Almond, whose work we've followed and stocked since she graduated in 2009... because we love it so very much! Katie's now based in Rutland, working in her studio to craft these beautiful porcelain works for us to drool over...

Drawing on her love of old textiles, paper ephemera and the tradition of afternoon tea, Katie hand makes and paints each wonderfully quirky piece.

espresso cup & saucer £32
lidded jar £42
mug & saucer with gold handle £46.50

Julia Smith

Julia Smith works from home in her studio near Inverness, making ceramics which clearly demonstrate her love of clay and the process of 'throwing' pots by hand. She leaves parts of the clay exposed and plays with thick glazes and transfers in an experimental fashion...

Rebecca Little jewellery...

I love this necklace! Made by Rebecca Little, whose work is inspired by textiles, this intricate Scalloped Pendant is made from oxidised silver and aquamarines.

Scalloped Pendant £220

For Rebecca, movement and tactility are most important, so she has developed her own technique that translates these qualities to create intricate, sculptural, spiralling and elegant pieces that are beautiful to look at and sensuous to wear.  In recent work, Rebecca has been using techniques such as fusing silver with gold and stone-setting.

She is a graduate of UCCA Farnham and the Bishopsland Educational Trust, where she was awarded a Gold Bursary, she has also been awarded prestigious bursaries from the Goldsmiths Company and The Goldsmiths Fair.
